Whispering Pines Job Skills Workshop
Earlier in 2014, the Whispering Pines/Clinton Indian Band approached Constantia Resources with a great idea: could we use our in-house Human Resources personnel to host a Job Skills Workshop for Whispering Pines members who are seeking to improve their job search and interview skills?
The goal of the workshop was for participants to learn how to effectively communicate to a potential employer by having a well prepared resume and excellent interviewing skills.
Here are some of the comments from participants:
"A very informative resume building and I learned a lot about the company and what they do."
"Very interesting, useful for someone who doesn't know about interviews and resumes. I liked the tips given for interviews, i.e. eye contact and verbal skills."
"I believe my resume will be a lot better than before, thank you."
